Tamara Day is the host of DIY Network’s new series Bargain Mansions. A native of greater Kansas City, Missouri, this mother of four specializes in large, neglected houses that would intimidate most. Tamara learned the construction trade growing up on her family’s Kansas farm where she helped her father maintain and repair the property’s buildings. Years later, she made a career out of transforming dilapidated properties into gorgeous dream homes.
