Yes, our Magnetic Entry Strip™ withstands over 5 Pascals of air pressure when used alone. Utilizing multiple Magnetic Entry Strips to create magnetic flap doors further enhances resistance to negative-air pressure.

You’re not restricted by the dimensions of a prefabricated door panel. The Magnetic Entry Strip and Dust Barrier Zipper allow you to create an entryway in any size plastic barrier of your choice. Each entry solutions is 80 inches long, designed to form a standard door-sized opening.

RE-U-ZIP® Dust Barrier Zippers come in five colors: red, blue, green, orange, and yellow. While there’s no functional difference between the colors, many companies use them for branding job sites or designating work zones and stages on large projects with extensive crews. Additionally, all our zippers and Magnetic Entry Strips™ are interchangeable—even mid-project—for ultimate versatility.

They are both approx 80" long and 2" wide. They are designed to fit a standard interior doorway.

The zipper fabric features a grommet at the bottom end, allowing you to secure it with a zip tie or small cable lock through the grommet and pull tab. This mechanism helps:

• Establish a chain of custody and reduce liability on sensitive projects.

• Increase Safety by Deter unauthorized access

• Alert you to Tampering Attempts

In an emergency, the zipper can be peeled off the plastic barrier to gain entry, even if locked. However, note that it is extremely difficult to peel off and reattach a locked RE-U-ZIP® zipper without visible signs of tampering.

We recommend 4 mil or thicker poly plastic sheeting for our zippers.   6 mil and thicker is ideal for our magnetic entry strips.  Solid to White (Opaque) can be used when privacy is need, Semi-Clear to Clear Clear Vinyl or PVC sheeting has been used when high visibility is desired.  Fire Retardant plastic is commonly used in healthcare and commercial projects. (check local building and safety ordinances)

We stand behind our products and provide a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with any RE-U-ZIP product’s functionality, the value it provides you, we will refund you 100% of the purchase price upon return of the items. You will only be responsible for return shipping. Returns for this satisfaction guarantee are limited to a maximum value of $500. 

LIMITED WARRANTY

Your RE-U-ZIP products are warranted not to break in ordinary use for 60 days. This warranty applies only to the original owner (evidenced by sales receipt). It specifically excludes any damage or failure due to abuse, misuse, abnormal or improper use, neglect, improper maintenance, or alterations or modifications by anyone other than RE-U-ZIP LLC. EXCLUSIONS

Covid-19 

Due to Covid-19, any RE-U-ZIP products used in healthcare construction or other facilities where expos are not eligible for return or refund. However, we will honor warranty and refunds for material defects. 

Excluded Products

Due to their intended uses for RE-U-ZIP Barrier Panels are not covered by our 60-day warranty unless they are unused or in case of a material defect. 

RE-U-ZIP LLC is not responsible or liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product, including but not limited to any personal injury or any loss of property, revenues, or profit by the owner. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED ABOVE, NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS MADE REGARDING THE PRODUCT, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. Some states do not allow limitation or exclusion of damages or implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Sale items 

Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Remember, a sales receipt is required to prove original ownership (unless you purchased the product online directly from RE-U-ZIP®). RE-U-ZIP LLC will provide shipping instructions to return the product. You pay the cost to return the product. If the product has not been subjected to abuse or other excluded causes listed above, RE-U-ZIP LLC will ship a replacement back to you at its own expense with no charge to you or issue a full refund.

You will be responsible for paying for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed to in writing before processing. We can provide you with a shipping label if requested. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Late or Missing Refunds 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, recheck your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same product, send us an email at info@reuzip.com to notify us of the defect, and we will send you a shipping label to return the original product. In case of a defect, we will cover shipping costs.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Shipment Tracking

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

This product is multi-purpose but primarily used for holding up the plastic flap of a "roll-up door" created by using two RE-U-ZIP Dust Barrier Zippers side-by-side, and for holding up the flap in the open position when executing a magnetic "fold-up door" using two of our Magnetic Entry Strips side-by-side.   For a demonstration of how to create these "roll-up" and "fold-up" (which provide wider access into your containment) visit the "Videos" section of our website.

Other Uses:

-Hold up signage on your containment you wish to reuse

-Attach signage to the fastener tabs or your dust barrier zipper for prominent communication

-Hold open an entryway flap to one side for easier access when using only one Dust Barrier Zipper or Magnetic Entry Strip

No. The only tool needed to install a RE-U-ZIP zipper is a common utility knife (new blade recommended) to cut the opening for your dust barrier entry.

Unlike similar products that require a gap to be cut so the plastic does not get caught in the zipper teeth, our system only requires a single slit down the middle, as our loop mounting strip is too thick to get caught in the teeth and is thus inherently jam-resistant.
